Gary Bowman passed away at the Valleyview Hospital with his family by his side on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at the age of 79 years. Gary was born on August 16, 1937 in Teulon, MB. He was the proud owner of Gary’s Auto Body in Valleyview, for over fifty years and also farmed in the New Fish Creek area. Gary will be lovingly remembered by his daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Darrell Mohn; his son, Tim Bowman; and his grandchildren, Nicholas and Stephanie Mohn all from Calgary. He is also survived by two sisters, Elaine Lowther and Lynn Boyd (Bill); two brothers, Stewart Bowman (June) and Tom Bowman (Barbara); and a sister-in-law, Joan Bowman, and many nieces and nephews. Gary was predeceased by his brother, Lavere Bowman; and brother-in-law, Jim Lowther. Funeral Services will be held at the Elks Memorial Hall, 4804 – 50th Street, Valleyview, AB on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Honouring Gary’s wishes, interment will take place at Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Calgary, AB at a future date.
