Obituary of William Paulovich
William Paulovich passed away peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth ll Hospital in Grande Prairie on August 28, 2013 at the age of ninety.
Bill was born in Mundare, AB on February 26, 1923 to parents, Todor and Warwara. In 1933, the family including sisters, Mary (Feledichuk), Vera (Wira), Helen (Ferris), Rose (Daviduck) and brothers, George and John, moved to a homestead in Deadwood, AB. Bill, alongside wife of fifty-nine years, Anne Hudema and son Lorie, eventually farmed in the North Star area till the family moved to Edmonton in 1971. In Edmonton, Bill spent many years working as a welder and fabricator for the garment industry as well as a mechanic at an auto body shop. Bill and Anne also lived in the Grandin area of St. Albert from 1977 till their retirement in 1991 which took them to Grande Prairie.
Bill will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Anne and son, Lorie of Grande Prairie.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 1:00pm at the St. Paul’s United Church in Grande Prairie. A luncheon will follow from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the Golden Age Centre.
