Sadly, John’s time in Grande Prairie was shortened after he was diagnosed with cancer, and he passed away peacefully there on Friday, April 29, 2016 at the age of 63 years. Beloved son of the late Marjorie and Fred Walterhouse, dear brother of Frank (d. 2013) (Gaye), Jim (Christine), Lewis (Valerie), and Doug (Connie). John will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Visitation will take place at Bear Creek Funeral Home #103 – 10920 84 Avenue, Grande Prairie, on Tuesday, May 3 at 6 PM. A Memorial Service will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home at 21 First Street, Orangeville, Ontario on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 2 PM.
