It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Margaret Kercher lost her battle to cancer, May 5, 2016 in the Grande Prairie Hospital. Margaret graduated from Fairview High School and resided just outside of Fairview for most of her life. She worked in many different professions in her life, and Margaret’s passions were her family, gardening, baking, crocheting, doing puzzles and paying attention to detail and planning. She is survived by her husband Roger Kercher, daughter Irene and Willy Kaufman (Zachary and Victoria), daughter-in-law Val Nykolyshyn ( Darian and Amanda), son-in-law Darrell Dutchak (Ashley), stepsons Brad and Ashlynn (Sean and Kelly), Derrick and Donna (Taylor and Samantha), sisters and brothers Marie and John Morgan, Glenda and Joe Biegel, Gail Obrigewitch, Eunice and Glen Thorson, Susan and Marvin Smith, Kaye Holstrom, Beverley and James Chernak, David and Chandra Gillett, Mark and Tracey Gillett, and many nieces and nephews and extended family.
