It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Sandra on May 24th, 2016 at 51 years of age. Sandra was a caregiver who loved to be around people and made friends with everyone, no matter who she talked to. She was compassionate, always knew what to say and put a smile on people’s faces. Sandra will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Sarah Desjarlais, her children; Maggie (Brent Auger), Stephanie (James Beir), Michelle (Nolan White), Cassie and Michael, and their father Romeo Patenaude. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Zoey, Justice, Korrah and Koda and her sister Virginia Desjarlais. She was predeceased by her father, Lornie Desjarlais; brothers John and Ron Desjarlais and her nephew Deom Desjarlais. A Wake for Sandra Desjarlais will be held at the East Prairie Metis Settlement Complex on Saturday, May 28th at 2pm. and Funeral Service will be held at the same location on Monday, May 30th at 1pm.
