It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved mom Catherine on May 24, 2016 of 62 years of age. Mom was a very active, competitive lady who loved to be around her family and friends. Mom made friends with everyone she met. She was compassionate, thoughtful and was not afraid to voice her opinion. Cathy will be lovingly remembered by her children Dirk (Ramona), Keith (Honey Mae), Shelley (Rob), Tim (Sam), Billie Jo (Stan), Amy and Sarah. Her brothers and sisters: Sharon Barbier (Jim Stewart), Josephine L’Heureux (Leandre), Maggie Willier, Ken Tomkins (Guylaine Gosselin), Tom Tomkins, Noreen Tomkins (John Bresnen), Bob Tomkins and Mitzi Tomkins. She is survived by her grandchildren and great granchildren. She was predeceased by brothers and sisters as follows: Marge Tomkins, Freddy Tomkins, Patsy Courtorielle (nee Tomkins), Wesley & Leslie Tomkins, Michael Tomkins, Sally Ellefson (nee Tomkins) and her parents John Henry Tomkins and Bonnie Tomkins A family service for Catherine May Tomkins will be held at the St.Anne’s Parish Catholic Church, Joussard on Saturday May 28th at 2 pm.
