November 14, 1955 – May 2, 2016 Daniel Bailly of Medicine Hat passed away on Monday, May 2, 2016, at the age of 60. Dan is lovingly remembered by his mother, Anne Bailly of Grande Prairie; his twin sister, Sharon (Don) Peterson of Grande Prairie and nephews Christopher and Ryan, his brother, John (Simone) of Red Deer and his nephew, Reed and his niece, Sarah (Curtis) and their daughter, Sophia. He was predeceased by his father, Leslie Bailly. Dan was born in Brooks and raised in Patricia. He farmed for many years before moving to Grande Prairie to work and attend college. He received his Power Engineering certificate in 1996. Later, he settled in Medicine Hat as he loved the prairie landscape and climate. Dan will be remembered for his kind, generous and positive nature and for his love of drawing and writing poetry. Keeping with Dan’s wishes a memorial service will be held June 10, 2016 at 3 pm. at the Church of Christ, 8321 Mission Heights Dr., Grande Prairie.
