It is with heavy hearts that we mournfully announce the passing of Lawrence Yurchyshyn, age 67, on July 20, 2016, at the Central Peace Health Complex after a short battle with cancer. Lawrence married Irene on July 17, 1970 in Eaglesham, Alberta, and moved to Spirit River in 1973 where they raised their family. Lawrence was a long-time employee of Macooh Implements and most recently Dave Ross Equipment. Lawrence is survived by his sons Brian (Rhonda) and their children Daelyn and Kody, Derek (Sherry) and their children Logan and Kennedy; daughter Connie and her children Tyreese and Terrell. He is also survived by his brother Norman (Shirley) Yurchyshyn and numerous nieces, nephews and extended relatives. He was predeceased by his wife, Irene Yurchyshyn and parents, Helen and Mike Yurchyshyn. A Celebration of Life for Lawrence will be held on Thursday, July 28th, 2016 at 2pm at the Spirit River Centennial Hall, Spirit River.
