Maryana (Wohlgemuth) Thiessen was born to John W. and Helena Hiebert Wohlgemuth on March 25, 1929 on a farm near Langdon, North Dakota. With family by her side, she peacefully departed from this life, Friday afternoon, July 29, 2016 at Grande Prairie, AB. She was 87 years old. She is survived by her children: Arvid (Linda) Thiessen, Crooked Creek, AB, Neal (Kathleen) Thiessen, Vanderhoof, BC, Ed (Valerie) Thiessen, Grande Prairie, AB, Sandra(Mark) Raber, Crooked Creek, AB, Nina Thiessen (Ken Sieben), Sexsmith, AB, Leanna Thiessen, Crooked Creek, AB, Cliff (Jeanette) Thiessen, Grande Prairie, AB, Eva(Camron) Peaster, Brooksville, MS, four brothers, five sisters, 23 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by: husband, W. Irvin Thiessen; parents Helena and John Wolhgemuth, brothers: Lawrence, Wayne and Alen; and foster son, Ryan House.
