Mary Nadorozny March 25, 1935 - August 17, 2016 Mary Nadorozny passed away peacefully with family at her side on August 17, 2016 in the QE II hospital at the age of 81. After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Mary went to be with the Lord and loved ones who pre-deceased her including her dad John, mother Annie, husband Fred Nadorozny, and siblings. Mary is survived by her loving children Ernie Vosper (Debra), Dale Vosper (Sharon), Sherry Lambert (Roger), Val Vosper, step-children, Karlene Routley (Gary), Michael Nadorozny (Colleen), Val Authenac (Fenton), grandchildren Amanda, Paul, Ernest, James, Matthew, Devon, Sydney, Laurel, Karlee, Michael, Katie, Joe, great grandchildren John, Joseph, Joshua, Eva, Nicole, Marshall, Duncan, Paityn, and Angus. Also left to remember her with love are her two brothers, four sisters, her very close friends Rose Plante, Helen Bilinski, Louisa Piluso, Chris Rudersdorfer, Chris McKee, and a multitude of people who were touched by the way she lived her life. Mary was born in Sarto, Manitoba on March 25, 1935 to John and Annie Wyryha. Mary's journey through life included many challenges and hardships that were overcome with the tough and determined grit displayed typically by the proudest and strongest women of her generation. Mary raised her family in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and moved to Fort St. John, British Columbia, later to Rycroft, Alberta, then to Armstrong, British Columbia, and finally to Grande Prairie, Alberta where she enjoyed her senior years. Mary will forever be remembered for her proud principles, values, work ethic, honesty, loving, and caring nature that personified every single day of her life. She was a loving wife, an amazing mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and a steady friend to anyone who needed one. Her sense of humor, playful nature, and sincere care for all who knew her will ensure her memory lives on for generations. Funeral service will be held at the McLaurin Baptist Church at 10913 - 107th Ave in Grande Prairie Alberta on Friday, August 26, at 10:00am. Luncheon will be held following the service.
