Iris Verlene Clapperton passed away on September 14, 2016 at the age of 79 years. Iris was a dedicated nurse, a loving mother, a wife, grandmother and great grandmother, a sister and an amazing friend. She valued family and was always there with her advice and support. She would never let you leave without a full belly. Her friendship, kind heart, wisdom and sense of humour will be missed by all. Iris is survived by her husband Harley; her sons Gordon (Margaret) Comeau and Danny (Sharon) Comeau; brothers Mickey (Audrey) Smith and Dale Smith as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Iris will be reuniting with her parents, children and siblings in Heaven. A Memorial Service for Iris will be held on Monday Sept 19, at 2pm at the Valleyview Legion Hall. 4806-50 Street, Valleyview AB.
