Obituary of Brian Ben Novlesky

July 18, 1957 – September 18, 2016 Brian Ben Novlesky resident of Grande Prairie Alberta, passed away at the Queen Elizabeth II hospital on September 18, 2016 at the age of 59 years. Brian was born on July 18, 1957 in Sexsmith, AB, Alberta to Bennie and Rose Novlesky. Brian was a warm and sincere person who enjoyed life to the fullest, making every moment count. He greeted everyone he met with a warm smile, a pat on the back or a handshake. He always had a positive outlook on life and took each day in stride. Brian especially enjoyed being with people and keeping busy doing social activities such as going to hockey games, concerts, church suppers, family gatherings, going for coffee with friends, going for supper with his sister Sheila and brother-in-law Sandy and going shopping with his other sister Geri and his nieces Tamara and Melissa. He also loved to play his guitar, listen to country music, watch WWE and play Wii on his TV. Brian was predeceased by his parents Bennie and Rose Novlesky. He is survived by his sister Geraldine McLean of Red Deer, Alberta and his other sister Sheila (Sandy) McDonald of Grande Prairie, Alberta. Also left to mourn are many nieces and nephews and uncles and aunts. A service to celebrate Brian’s life will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 10407-100 Street, Grande Prairie, AB. Brian’s sisters would like to express their gratitude to the staff at “90th” where Brian lived and to the staff at the Queen Elizabeth II hospital, especially the nurses on 5North.
