April 22, 1967 – September 15, 2016 It is with great sadness that Delinda Wruth’s family announces her peaceful passing on September 15,2016. Born in Lethbridge, Delinda was adopted by her father, Richard Piper, as an infant and she grew up in Calgary, Edmonton and British Columbia. She was a loyal sister to Del, Dellalee, Dallamae, Deloris, Delisa and Mike. At the early age of seventeen she gave birth to her first born son, Shawn, while a few years later she met her first and only love, Garrett Wruth. With an integrated family and a new son, Cody, Delinda would eventually give birth to her first and only daughter, Kendra. Throughout the remaining years of her life, Delinda would be a selfless, loving and caring mother and wife for many years. She lived her life being an example of compassion towards others and instilling strong and moral values into all those around her. The world will be a brighter place because of Delinda’s presence and her life’s purpose. She will be forever missed and loved by all her friends and family and we thank Delinda for all the love she gave to this world. Delinda is gone but her spirit lives on within and around us. Delinda is survived by her husband Garrett, sons Shawn and Cody and her daughter Kendra, her mother Carol, brother Del, sisters Dellalee, Deloris, Dellamae and Dellisa and her brother Mike. She was predeceased by her father Richard Piper. A Celebration of Life for Delinda will be held on Monday, September 26th at 11am at the Mission Heights Church of Christ, 8321 Mission Heights Drive, Grande Prairie.
