Jim was born in Buffalo, NY on February 19, 1930, and raised in Kenmore, NY. He served in the US Air Force during the Berlin airlift in Germany. In 1953 Jim met the love of his life, Ruth, and they married in New York on August 25th, 1956. Jim loved hunting and fishing. He worked as a milk delivery man, then as a block mason until the time that God called on him. Jim and Ruth responded to this calling faithfully and with open arms. God led the family to Canada in 1979 and a new journey began. Bible studies, prayer meetings, small services in many homes which led to the establishment of “Believers Full Gospel Assembly of Grande Prairie”. Jim was part of the pastoral community and from 1983 until 2003, as the founding pastor of Believer’s. His life in serving God had a major influence on countless people throughout the Grande Prairie area. Many folks felt they were adopted into his family.
