Obituary of Annie Irean Danroth

April 25, 1927 – October 24, 2016 It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our mother, grandmother, and great grandmother on Monday October 24, 2016 at the age of 89. Mom was born and raised in Brock, Saskatchewan. She was employed as a telephone operator in Lucky Lake, where she met Stewart. In 1951 they were married and began their family in Calgary, Alberta. A trucking job took them to Fort St. John BC; and then the call to be a farmer led them to the Goodfare area. Mom was always busy with gardening, canning, and berry picking; as well as sewing for everyone. She enjoyed embroidering quilts for all the Grand kids and doing needle-point pictures. After Dad’s passing in 1997, she continued to stay on the farm until the fall of 2008. Mom then moved to Dieppe manor where she resided until her passing. She leaves to mourn are her sister, Elsie Kendall; Daughter, Neva (Clarence) Hanson, their children Angela (Colby), Erin (Greg), Eric (Kassandra); Son, Dennis (Theresa), and their children Jason, Bradley, Bryce; Daughter, Debbie (Byron) Minni, and their children, Katherine (Monty), Stephan (Jen), Roselyn (Matt); Son, Wade (Joanne), and their children, Angie (Lincon), Amber (Colin), Aimee; and 17 Great-Grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Stewart; parents John and Isabella; sister, Margret; and brother-in-laws, Blake, and Joe. A celebration of life for Annie will take place on Saturday October 29, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the Beaverlodge United Church in Beaverlodge, Alberta. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the West County Health Complex. Care entrusted to Bear Creek Funeral Home 780-830-7742 www.bearcreekfuneral.com
