John Blair Devoe passed away at the age of 65 in Grande Prairie Alberta. A longtime resident of Grande Prairie, he is lovingly remembered by his son Raven Mikhail, brothers; Gerard in Ontario and Colin in Nova Scotia, sisters; Patricia in Massachusetts, Diane in Alberta, Michelle in Nova Scotia and Lynn in Ontario. Blair was predeceased by his wife Salena Doell and his daughter Shawna Renee; his parents Walter and Elizabeth Devoe; siblings Walter, Yvonne, Brian, Lorraine, Kevin, and infant Elizabeth. Blair is lovingly remembered by many friends in Grande Prairie. A memorial service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Wednesday October 23 at 1:00 PM with interment to follow at the Grande Prairie Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of the QEII Hospital for their excellent and compassionate care of Blair during his brief stay, especially the staff of 5 North.
