SANDBOE, RoseMarie (June 17, 1938 – November 9, 2013) RoseMarie Sandboe, long-time resident of LaGlace and Grande Prairie, Alberta, passed away at the QEII Hospital in Grande Prairie on Saturday, November 9, 2013. RoseMarie was born in Sexsmith on June 17, 1938. RoseMarie spent her childhood in LaGlace. She happily married Cyril Sandboe at the age of 17 on October 26, 1955. They farmed and raised their family near La Glace then moved to Grande Prairie in 1998. RoseMarie is survived by her children Connie Sandboe (Gerry), Wade Sandboe (Brenda), Zelda Behuniak (Greg); her grandchildren Dustin (Stephanie), Mark, and Kyle Boutilier; Darren (Natasha) and Sheldon (Cassandra) Ward; and Amber (Drew) and Jonathan (Kirsten) Behuniak; great grandchild Cashton Boutilier; brother Carl Friberg, and sisters Helen Speed (Gene) and Rita Beausoleil (Frank). RoseMarie was predeceased by her husband Cyril on July 8, 2004, mother Alma Friberg, stepfather Ernest Friberg; brother Robert and sister-in-law Vera Caltrell, brothers-in-law Raymond, Gordon, and Talbert Sandboe, Olaf Angen, and Chic Gregory; sisters-in-law Eunice Gregory and Helen Sandboe; parents-in-law Carl and Clara Sandboe. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2013, at 2:00 pm at Calvary Lutheran Church, with Pastor Dave Friesen officiating. Interment to follow in the Northfield Cemetery.
