Minni, Sherman Carl (1954-2013) Sherman Carl Minni, born May 19, 1954 in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, passed away November 29, 2013 at Points West Hospice in Grande Prairie Alberta at the age of 59 years. Sherman dealt with his diagnosis of end-stage pancreatic cancer with courage and calm realism. Sherman’s Last Ride will take place on Friday, December 6 at 2:00 PM at Little Smoky Community Hall in Little Smoky Alberta, 40 km south of Valleyview on Highway 43 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Horse Club, Valleyview & District 4-H Council, c/o 4-H Foundation of Alberta, RR1 Westerose AB T0C 2V0 or the charity of one’s choice.
