Shirley Dianna Boland “Mama”, 46, of Grande Prairie, AB passed away on Wednesday January 8th 2014 surrounded by many people who loved her very much. She is survived by her husband Alec Robertson, her two daughters Stephanie King & Jessica (Scott) Matwiiw, grandchildren Keira, Kasen, and Kora Matwiiw, her parents Gerald & Rita Boland, and many other family members. She was born and raised in Toronto, ON. She moved across country to Grande Prairie with her husband Alec in 2004. In 2007 Shirley became a grandma for the very first time. She then took on the name Mama and would later welcome two other grandchildren who she loved more than anything in this world. Shirley was an amazing woman who always put the needs of others before herself and will be greatly missed by all. A memorial service will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 10404 102 St, Grande Prairie, at 1 pm on Monday January 13, 2014.
