Baby Courtney Luksa

Obituary of Baby Olivia Courtney Luksa

Olivia blessed our lives on January 8, 2014 and without notice on February 6, 2014, our beautiful girl became an angel, shining her light in our hearts forever. Beloved child of Tony and Christine (Copeland) Luksa and little sister to Ares, Ciara, Halena and Isabella, Olivia gave us a lifetime of love during her short time with us. Olivia will be greatly missed by her parents, her sisters and brother, as well as her maternal grandparents Roberta and Dean Hunt (Grande Prairie AB); paternal grandparents Laima and Rick Fox (Cincinnati OH) and Karin and Len Luksa (Waterloo ON) and; her great grandparents Valerie Tautkevicius (Mississauga ON) and Joseph and Lydia Luksa (Waterloo ON). Our special baby girl touched so many lives in such a brief time and will be remembered by her many Aunties and Uncles, our extended families and dearest friends, and by all of our colleagues and acquaintances who have been so kind and thoughtful during this most difficult time. In lieu of flowers we ask you support SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome): SIDS http://www.sidscanada.org/donatenow.html Funeral services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 10407 100 Street Grande Prairie AB, on Friday February 14 at 2:00 p.m. Care and arrangements entrusted to Bear Creek Funeral Home Grande Prairie 780-830-7742. Memorial messages for the family may be left at www.bearcreekfuneral.com Lullabies Daddy please don’t look so sad, Mommy please don’t cry. I am in the arms of Jesus and He sings me lullabies. Please do not try to question God, don’t think He is unkind. Don’t think He sent me to you and that He changed His mind. You see, I am special and I’m needed up above. I’m the special child you gave Him, the product of your love. I’ll always be there with you. So watch the sky at night. Find the brightest start that’s gleaming. That’s my halo’s brilliant light. So Daddy please don’t look so sad. Mommy please don’t cry. I am in the arms of Jesus. And he sings me lullabies. – author unknown
