SCHOENDORFER, ERWIN (1954 – 2014) Erwin. long-time resident of Wembley, Alberta passed away on February 23, 2014 at the age of 59. Erwin was born August 26, 1954 in North Star, Alberta. He married his wife Leila on November 9, 1974 and together they had three daughters. He owned and operated Schoendorfer Pressure Testing for over 25 years, and enjoyed spending his free time at his farm at Manning, Alberta. He will be sadly missed by daughters; Brandy (Wyatt) Lund, Jessica McKinlay (Clint) Simmons, Trinaca (Kurtis) Thiessen. Grandchildren; James, Tristen, Madison, Hailey, Kylie, Morgan and Kennedy. Brothers; Steve, Kurt and Galen. Sisters; Helen, Therese and Renate. Mother-in-law Evelyn Thomson, Sister-in-law Arlene (Blaine) Henitiuk, and several nieces and nephews. Erwin was pre-deceased by his wife Leila, father Stephan, mother Jean, brothers Cleve and Karl, sister Donna, father-in-law Frank and brother-in-law Garth. Funeral services will be held at the St. Paul’s United Church located at 10206 100 Avenue in Grande Prairie, Alberta on Friday February 28, 2014 at 1:00 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation and Canadian Diabetes Association.
