Aurel Lanthier of Sexsmith, Alberta, passed away peacefully in Points West Hospice in Grande Prairie, Alberta, on March 15 after his battle with cancer. His wife Suzanne was by his side and he also leaves to mourn his son Richard (Wendi) of Grande Prairie and his daughter Cathy (Dennis) Pettit of Pierceland, Saskatchewan, along with his granddaughters Cindy, Sara & River, and grandson Dalyn. His mother Oriente, brothers Marcel and Claude (Linda) and sister Denise (Elie) Dubosq are grieving deeply along with everyone in Kapuskasing, Ontario, including numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. Aurel was pre-deceased by his father Lori in 1991 and his brothers; Rheal in 2007 and Gilles in 2010.
