Stephen James Turner of Beaverlodge, Alberta, passed away at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in Grande Prairie on May 1, 2014, at the age of 57 years. Born on February 10, 1957 and raised in the Toronto, Steve lived in the Grande Prairie area for the last 20 years. He had a passion for camping and fishing, and lived life on his terms…Rockin’ in the Free World! Steve will be missed by his daughter Melanie Cherwaiko, grandchildren Byron and Breinna; sisters Donna, Ellen, and Lee; close friends Donna Mijanovich & kids, Cory Houle, Davey Crockett, Brenda Allbee-Woodman, Little Pickle, Pickle, Paddy, his companion D.O.G., and numerous others. A Celebration of Life will begin at Halcourt Cemetery at 2PM on Saturday, May 17th, and then continue at Red Willow Campground.
