It is with great sadness the family of Steven Charles McIntyre announces his passing in Edmonton, Alberta on the 11th of December 2016. Steve will be lovingly remembered by his Wife of 36 years Ruth; 3 Children, Amanda (Blair) Burt; Stephanie (Brad) Blake, Nicholas (Jamie) McIntyre; 5 Grandchildren, Makayla, Kayden, Kaycee, Marcus, Nate; Sisters and Brothers, Faye (John) Daye, Penny (Phil) Ward, Eleanor (Dwayne) Gechter, Grant (Lorraine) McIntyre; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, close friends, and acquaintances. Steve was predeceased by his Parents William and Florence McIntyre. Steve was a well-respected member of the Alberta Oil Community, working with Home Oil, Anderson Exploration, and Devon Canada for 44 years as a pipefitter, API Inspector, and Consultant. Steve’s determination, strength and courage was an inspiration to all who knew him, he will be forever remembered. A Celebration of Steve’s Life will be held on December 17th, 2016 at 1pm at the Fairview Legion Community Hall. A luncheon will follow.
