August 6, 1947 – April 5, 2017 Murray Ames McEwen passed away on Wednesday April 5, 2017 at the age of 69. Murray was born August 6, 1947 in Grande Prairie, Alberta. He was survived by his wife Cheryl (nee Bain), children Tracy MacDonald (Heath), Trent McEwen (Nicole), grandchildren Megan MacDonald, Spencer Dupuis (Jason), Darcy Laidlaw, Colby MacDonald, great grandson Wyatt VanMetre, brother Alvin McEwen (Sandra), as well as numerous other family members and close friends. Murray was predeceased by his parents Tom and Veryl McEwen, and brother Gordon McEwen. According to Murray’s wishes, the family requests your presence at a gathering in his memory at the Bezanson Hall on the weekend of June 3, 2017 that will include a Camp out, Toonie Bar and a Dance.
