Obituary of David Wolfgang Bosek

~~February 12, 1965 – June 27, 2017
It is with heavy hearts the family of David Bosek announces his passing on June 27, 2017. Dave was born in London, Ontario, and spent most of his growing up years in Vancouver before meeting his wife Danette, and moved up to the Peace Country. He worked hard in the oilfield to make a better life for his family and himself.
Dave leaves to mourn his two sons Sam (Kacie) and Ben, and his loving wife Danette; his mother Maureen and father Ernst Grecht; sister Katrina and her spouse Torben Hansen;   brothers Paul and Robert, and their families; brothers-in-law Alan and Dan Connor and Clayton Leroux and their families;  father-in-law Ray Leroux;  sister-in-law Charlene Connor and her husband Mike; grandmother Delia; and numerous other family and countless friends.
He is predeceased by his uncle Horst Walter Bosek.
Family prayers will be held on Thursday July 6th, 2017 at 5:00pm at Mission Heights Church of Christ, 8321 Mission Heights Drive, Grande Prairie.  A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday July 7th, 2017 at 1:00pm at the Highland Park Church of Christ at 9602 92 Avenue in Grande Prairie. Memorial donations may be made in David’s honour to the Canadian Mental Health Association www.cmha.ca.
Dave was the type to give his all to everything he touched or tried. He always put others first and helped out whenever needed. Everyone will miss his German Bear Hugs and his energetic spirit!
“Dad, you will be missed.”
“In a world full of Justin Bieber’s, be a Johnny Cash.”
Please join us in celebrating and remembering Dave who has touched so many lives and has been taken too soon.  Rest easy Davey Bosek forever in our hearts.
Love Sam and Ben
