Obituary of Dennis Voutier

January 5, 1979 – September 10, 2017

It is with heavy hearts that we mournfully announce the passing of Dennis Christopher Voutier of Grande Prairie, Alberta (formerly of North Sydney, Nova Scotia) on September 10, 2017.
Dennis wore a smile that would brighten any room and was amazingly quick at making long lasting friends in any situation.  He was very proud of his work as a Field Supervisor with his longtime employer, Isolation Equipment Services and approached every workday with strength and purpose.  In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his family, the Toronto Blue Jays,  and was always busy planning his next adventure.
Dennis will be forever missed by his wife, Charlene, children Audrey and Dane, his parents, Roddie and Noel Voutier, his brother, Michael (Rhandi), his sister Megan (Jason), his Nova Scotia and Labrador families, his three nephews and two nieces, and his many friends that he counted as family.
Dennis was predeceased by his grandparents, Fred and Edna Voutier, Sidney and Lorraine Norman and his uncle David Voutier.
Dennis requested a Celebration of his life for his family and friends in lieu of a funeral service.  This will be held at a future date in Grande Prairie, Alberta.  Memorial donations in Dennis’ name can be made to the Grande Prairie Hospice Palliative Care Society, PO Box 21215, Grande Prairie, Alberta, T8V 6W7
Cancer was unable to break Dennis’ spirit.  His zest for life and his strength and love burned bright until the end.
