Austin Alexander Harrison born September 1, 1994 and passed away January 11, 2015 With very heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Austin Harrison on Sunday January 11, 2015. Austin was born and raised in Grande Prairie. He graduated from the Grande Prairie Composite High school in 2012. Austin was wise beyond his years, and had a passion for learning about world history, politics and war. Austin was very motivated and was actively working towards his life goals. He had an affinity for exploring nature and all its beauty. He loved spending time with friends and family. Austin was kind, compassionate and caring and will be missed dearly by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. He is survived by his parents Laura (nee Harrison) and Brad Smith, and James and Amy Rozell, his grandparents Reudy and Paulette Smith, grandfather Dale Harrison, grandparents Jim and Ruth Rozell, grandmother Patti Smyth and partner Robert Night, brother Liam Smith, sisters Victoria, Sydney, and Molly Rozell, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased by his grandmother Karen Harrison (nee Chrenek). A public viewing will be held on Thursday January 15, 2015 from 7 PM until 9 PM at the Mission Heights Church of Christ; 8321 Mission Heights Drive, Grande Prairie AB. A funeral service will be held for Austin on Friday January 16, 2015 at 3:30 PM, at the Highland Park Church of Christ; 9602 92 Avenue, Grande Prairie AB.
