It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Allan Popesco on January 14, 2015 at the age of 54. David was born on June 24, 1960 in Beaverlodge, Alberta and passed away in Grande Prairie, Alberta. A resident of Nose Creek, David will be missed by Milly, Arnold, Florence (Wally), Audrey, Clara, Wayne, Grace, Bruce (Laurie) Clinton and Jody Sipe and their children Emma and Mason. Along with Allison, Ed and Twyla Gagnon, Floyd and Joyce Neilson, Oral and Jackie Neilson, Goldie and Tony McIntyre, Lilian Chute (Carl), and many nieces and nephews. David is pre-deceased by his wife of 25 years Christine Lea Popesco. Miss Me But Let Me Go When I come to the end of the road, And the sun has set for me, I want no rites in gloom-filled rooms, Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little–but not too long, And not with your head bowed low; Remember the love that we once shared Miss me–but let me go. For this is a journey that we all must take, And each must go alone. It’s all a part of the Master’s plan, A step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick at heart, Go to the friends we know, And busy your sorrows in doing good deeds. Miss me – but let me go.
