Obituary of Daniel Nelson Amero

Daniel Nelson Amero was born in Vancouver, British Columbia on October 3, 1963 and left us much too soon on December 25, 2017 at the age of 54 years.

Daniel was a family man, he loved nothing more than being home and spending time with his family.  He had the best sense of humour and it was infectious to everyone around him. Making people laugh was one of his greatest joys.

Daniel had a huge passion for cars at an early age and spent a lot his spare time working on his vehicles. Even spreading his knowledge and making sure his wife and daughter knew how vehicles worked inside and out, whether they liked it or not. 

He attended SAIT and took immense pride in being a refrigeration mechanic. Every call was personal to him and every customer was important. He treated their home or business as if it were his own.

In 1985 Daniel and Kelly met and 4 hours later they knew within their hearts they were soul mates. Joshua joined the family in 1987 and Becca in 1996 making the family complete.

Daniel will forever be carried in the hearts of his family and friends. He touched the lives of many and will be remembered for the kind and loving man he was. All who knew him will miss his beautiful smile.

Daniel had a love of food and potlucks were his favorite way of bringing people together, so please join us for a potluck supper and a celebration of Daniel’s life on Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 6-8pm at Bear Creek Funeral Home’s new location (11802 99 Avenue, Grande Prairie, Alberta between Kia and Visions Electronics).
