Novlesky, Rose (1924 – 2015) Rose Novlesky, resident of Sexsmith and Grande Prairie, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2015 at the age of 90 years. Rose was born on February 24, 1924 in Sexsmith and married her soul mate, Bennie Novlesky, on June 21, 1945. Rose was a lifetime resident of the Sexsmith community and farmed with her husband for over sixty years, where together they raised their children, Geraldine, Sheila, and Brian. Rose was passionate about her family, gardening, flowers, needle work, and her knitting. Rose was pre-deceased by her husband Bennie on June 5, 2013. She is survived by her children, Geraldine, Sheila, and Brian, her grandchildren, and sister Elsie Novlesky, as well as other family members. Rose was a kind and gentle person and a dear friend who will be remembered by many. At Rose’s request there will be no memorial service.
