Such a sad day for ur wonderful family.... i never knew him personally but its as though i have met him after today and even through thus difficult time and although he is no longer here with us i feel like he positively influenced me today in just hearing what an incredible human being the man was to everyone who had the privilege to know him.... Ray, News of your death came to the McKeage home on Tuesday night as Neil Godwin called the Old Guard of the Grande Prairie Ambulance Service to make us aware of your loss. Neil’s call brought back a flood of memories to both Lynne and I. There were more smiles than tears as we reminisced. It has been twenty-nine years since we last crewed together but it seem like yesterday. Thank you for being a wonderful partner. Thank you for showing me what a real impish grin looks like. Thank you for teaching me what it is to be charming. Thank you for showing me how to totally focus on one’s patient as a person ,not the medicine ,for that is truly what they value most. Thank you for letting me witness your endless joy of life. While I’ll not make your service I will offer my Sunday Mass and Communion for you Elaine and your family at this very special time in their lives.
