Obituary of Carrol Elsie King

May 24, 1941 – May 10, 2018

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother, Carrol King on May 10, 2018, with her family by her side.

Mom was an avid gardener and loved her flowers. She enjoyed bowling, snowmobiling, quading, and her horse, Princess, as well as her dogs. Carrol worked many different jobs. She took great pride in maintaining an immaculate home environment. She was a great cook and baker. Mom was an amazing lady and will be missed dearly.

Carrol is survived by her 5 children; her daughter, Shelly Rivers (Ken) and their children, Stephen Rivers, and Douglas Rivers; her daughter, Nan King (Harvey) and her children, Cody Clarke, Carlie King,Bryan King; her son, John Clarke (Laura) and their children, Crystal Clarke, Corey Clarke, Curtis Clarke, and Colton Clarke; her son, Terry Clarke (Kelly) and their children, Regan Clarke, and Haley Clarke; her daughter, Tammy Marlikowski and her children, Wayne Dexter, Kyle Dexter, Tyler Dexter, Andrew Marlikowski, and Michael Marlikowski; sisters, Bettylou Ouimet, and Marilyn Saunders; brother, Roy Leadbetter; as well as many extended family members.

Carrol is pre-deceased by her parents, Elroy and Elsie Leadbetter; brother, Larry Leadbetter; her sister, Lorraine Chase; and bother-in-law, Larry Chase; and son-in-law, Dieter Marlikowski.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Angela Barreth, Dr. Alexandra Noga, and Dr. Brad Martin; as well as Lori Bembridge and the homecare team that improved her quality of life during her final days.

There will be no funeral service, at Mom’s request however, there will be a Celebration of Life held in July, 2018.
