I just came across Charlie's obituary today and I wanted to pay tribute to one of the kindest and selfless people I have ever known. Charlie and Rita were staples at our church and they both were always so kind to everyone they were in contact with. My condolences to the family as your separation is a painful reminder of the harsh reality of life but may you be comforted in the legacy of the amazing role model you had in him. God Bless.
Charlie was my cub scout leader back in 1970. he was a wonderful mentor and role model. I fondly remember the days when he drove the bus between Grande Prairie and Edmonton and the conversations we would have on the long drive. I want to give Judy and the entire family mu deepest sympathies on the passing of a wonderful man who helped countless young people learn the traits of leadership and integrity. Can you Charlie when he drove bus up to Fort St. John and highly regarded him. I haven’t seen him for a long long time but I still think of him once in a while. RIP Charlie
