With great sadness we announce the passing of Marcelina Estabillo, at Points West Living Hospice, in Grande Prairie, on March 11th, 2015. Born in the Philippines, on April 26th, 1933, Marcelina was 81 years old. Marcelina attended the Tayug National School and enjoyed playing sports, her favourites were softball and volleyball. She worked as a housekeeper and spent three years as a councilwoman. Marcelina is survived by her children Manuel, Warlita (Jun), Mario (Susana), Lolita (Johnny), Trinidad, Sylvia (Edgar), Marife (Esteban) and Minerva and her grandchildren Angelica, Ton Ton, Rio, Reno, Lucky, Jerry, Judit, Ginalyn, Gisselle, Sheryl Mae, Jerffrey and Kyle. Marcelian was predeceased by her husband Alfredo Estabillo, son Leonardo, daughter Maria, brothers Roming Perez, Enrique and Teofilo, sister Flor and parents Engracio and Florencia Espanola Perez. A visitation will be held at the People’s Church on Saturday, March 14th from 2 until 3:30 pm. At 3:30, a service and a luncheon will follow.( 11850 108 Street, Grande Prairie AB T8V 8G5 ).
