Obituary of Gerald Cecil Hutt

May 22, 1939 – July 10, 2018

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Gerald Cecil Hutt. Gerald passed peacefully in Edmonton, Alberta in the presence of his family.

Gerald was born and raised in Grande Prairie, Alberta. In his retirement years he lived in Grande Cache. Gerald was a graduate of the Fairview College Agriculture Program and during his lifetime he worked as a mechanic and truckdriver.

He was friendly and outgoing person who was always willing to talk with anyone at any time. Gerald was an active outdoorsman and enjoyed camping as well as fishing. He was happiest when he was travelling and exploring the Yukon and Alaska. He loved learning all about the history of where ever he went so he could share with everyone.

Gerald leaves behind his wife, Lillian; and two daughters, Sandra Hutt, Tracey Heppner; and son, Leonard Hutt; and three grandchildren, Bretton, Jordan and Bailey; as well as his sisters, Joyce Kimpe and Nancy McDonald.

A Memorial Service will be held at Bear Creek Funeral Home/Richmond Centre (11802 99 Avenue, Grande Prairie) on July 27, 2018 at 11:00 am.
