Obituary of Doris Marion Gower
November 9, 1934 – September 8, 2018
Doris Marion Gower, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 8th, 2018 at the age of 84 years.
Doris was born in Lower Cove, Nova Scotia to Frances and Placide White on November 8, 1934. She married Cecil (Bud) Allen Gower on September 14th, 1951. Together, they moved to Grande Cache in 1969 to start their new life together. Now they are finally reunited together again in heaven.
Doris will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Donna Bradburn and Sharon Mackinnon. Son-in-laws, Terry Bradburn and Frank Mackinnon. Grandchildren Steven, Tammy and Angie. Great Grandchildren Kassandra, Khloe, Lexy, Fayth, Evan, Gavin and Brody.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday September 12th, 2018 at the United Church of Canada located at 10451 105 Ave, Grande Cache, Alberta. Grave side service will follow at the Grande Cache Cemetery. After the grave side service, lunch will be provided at the Church by the Golden Age Club.
