Obituary of Kathleen Donovan
Kathleen (Kaye Schultz) Donovan (aka Nana) was born in Burstall, SK on April 3, 1936 to Mary and Harry Schultz, and passed away in Edmonton on March 25, 2015.
Kaye was blessed with a family of one sister: Marlene Skeet; five children: Leslie, Harry, Michael, Murray, and Katheryne; seven grandchildren: Jenn, Laura, Rachel, Andrew, Grahame, Carly, and Shahn; five chosen grandchildren: Mark, Mitchel, Amanda, Angel, and Bobbi Jo; 14 great-grandchildren: Alyssa, Chloe, Wyatt, Alethia, Sawyer, Evelyn, Anthony, Apollo, Milana, Story, Angel, Porshia, Jacob, Jade; two nieces: Mary Jean and Tracie; one great-niece: Breanna; and many dear friends.
Faith, family, and friends were most important to Kaye who believed “with God all things are possible!” She trusted in the truth that all are sinners and fall short of the glory of God, that Jesus died while we were yet sinners, that we might believe, and believing come into fellowship with God the Father. She looked forward to spending eternity with the Father and her parents and son, Harry, who predeceased her.
Kaye’s desire for her loved ones was that they might celebrate and rejoice at her passing into glory and that they might grow in love of God and one another.
Kathleen (Kaye) Donovan passed away in Edmonton on March 25, 2015. A celebration of Kaye’s life will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Christian Fellowship Assembly 11449-92 Street Grande Prairie at 2PM, with tea following the service. In lieu of flowers, please pay it forward to someone in need, just as Kaye would have done.
