Obituary of Jake (Jacob) Driedger Rempel
April 19th, 1951 - October 1st, 2018
We mournfully announce the sudden passing of Jake Rempel in Fairview, Alberta, at the age of 67. Jake was married on October 22nd, 1972 to his beloved wife Mary. He was always a hard working man who enjoyed building and renovating homes. Jake loved telling stories and jokes, and could often be found doing so with his coffee friends at A&W. He loved his family and took great pride in his grandchildren. He was well loved and will live on in our hearts forever.
Jake is survived by his wife, Mary. His four children William Rempel (Debbie), Victoria Noullett (Gerry), Virginia Moskalyk (Shaun), and Timothy Rempel, ten grandchildren Mark, Austin, Luke and Joshua Rempel, Jewel and London Noullett, Nash and Keeley Moskalyk, Jordan and Nathaniel Rempel will forever miss their Papa.
Jake is predeceased by his parents Isaak and Aganetha Rempel, his sisters Aganetha, Margaretha, Susana, Agatha, Helen, and his brother Bill.
Friends and family are welcomed to gather for Jake’s funeral service on Friday, October 12th at the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Fairview, AB. There will be a viewing for those that wish at 1pm, with the service beginning at 2pm.
