Obituary of David Michael Gerzanich

July 1, 1955 – October 17, 2018

It is with heavy hearts that the family of David Gerzanich announce his passing on October 17, 2018. David was born in the Edmonton General Hospital and lived in British Columbia and Ontario, then moved back to Alberta in 1966 as his father served in the Canadian Air Force. The family settled in Grande Prairie where they remained from then on. David attended and graduated from Grande Prairie Composite High School. He later worked as a draftsman for many years and drew several of the areas in Grande Prairie.

David loved kids and animals very much, and they loved him. He was considered a gentle soul by many of his friends.

David is survived by his son Darcy; granddaughters, Ilyanna and Abigail; his former wife Sandy (McLelland) and brothers Art (Laurie) and Peter (Nora).

He was predeceased by son, Robert, father Frank, mother Carrie and brother Mike (Karen).

A graveside service for family will be held at the Grande Prairie Cemetery.
