I loved seeing this picture, this is how I remember Laurie. She was beautiful. She had amazing hair, I used to watch in awe as she'd French braid it wo a mirror. I often think of her standing there braiding it. Laurie had a kind soul. We used to go to a deli during lunch, I often witnessed her buying someone lunch. She was very funny & we shared many laughs. I didn't see her much in later years, but when I did we'd chat. She is someone I've always carried with me, thinking of her often. I'm comforted knowing she is again young, healthy & free of pain.<3

I would like to send my sincere condolences to the family of Laurie. It wasn't that long ago that I saw Laurie downtown, She stopped and talked to me... Laurie had such a natural beauty about her and such elegance. I pray that she is now at rest!
