Obituary of Laurie Anne Tissington

February 28, 1965 - October 21, 2018

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Laurie on October 21, 2018.  She died suddenly at Rotary House in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Laurie attended Harry Balfour, Montrose Jr. High and the Composite schools.  She was a bright, beautiful girl with a great sense of humor, so loved by family and friends.  She was an accomplished equestrian rider, loved the horses and the competitions around Alberta and BC.  Laurie’s artwork is well known in the community.

She leaves her parents, Fred Tissington, Gayle Tissington and Wayne Pollock, her siblings Shelly Scott and Robert Tissington and brothers Matt and T.J., nephew Nathan, nieces Tilde in Sweden and Teigan in Grande Prairie.

Laurie is predeceased by her grandparents, Stella and Bernard Tissington and maternal grandmother Annie Topham.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 2pm at Bear Creek Funeral Home, 11802 99 Avenue, Grande Prairie, AB.
