Obituary of Christine Sylvia Philion

July 27, 1951 – November 4, 2018

We regret to announce the passing of Christine Sylvia Philion (Ryder) in Grande Prairie, Alberta on November 4, 2018 at the age of 67.

Christine died at her home from heart failure. She is survived by her loving husband Andre (Andy Philion), and daughter Jennifer (Chris), granddaughter Taysha, great-grandson Denvyr, as well as her three siblings Patricia, Sheldon (Adbhuta) and Candace (Mark).

 She was pre-deceased by her younger brother David (Maria), and her parents Maxwell and Elsie. 

Christine was born in Vancouver, BC on July 27, 1951, to Maxwell and Elsie Ryder.  She was the second eldest of five children and was raised in Mission City, Whiterock and Stewart, BC.  Her life has taken her across Canada, from Port Hardy on Vancouver Island to Sussex Corner in New Brunswick. She has spent the last six years living in Grande Prairie, Alberta. 

As per her wishes Christine has been cremated and there will be no services.
