Lisa Christine Dawn Oakes (May 5, 1978 – April 5, 2015) Lisa was born in Edmonton on May 5, 1978 and passed away in Grande Prairie on April 5, 2015 at the age of 36 years. Lisa leaves to mourn her 5 children, 3 brothers, 2 sisters, numerous cousins, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and extended family in Ontario and in Alberta. She was pre-deceased by her parents. A memorial service for the late Lisa Oakes will be held at McLaurin Baptist Church (10913-107 Ave Grande Prairie) on Wednesday, April 8 at 1PM. While our hearts ache for a life cut too short, we are at peace that she no longer needs to suffer in this world.
