Obituary of Seth Joel Cookman

October 9, 1987- February 1, 2019

Seth Joel Cookman passed away suddenly on February 1, 2019 in Grande Prairie, AB at the age of 31.

Seth is survived by his parents, Lynn and David, sister Heidi (Daniel) and niece Mckinley, his grandma Tania, grandpa Norman and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his dad Gary, his grandpa Lorne, his uncle Gregg and grandma Geraldine.

Seth had a unique zest for life, a huge heart, and a beautiful smile. Even if you only knew Seth for short time, he would’ve made a lasting impression. He loved his friends and his family and adored their children.

The outdoors and fishing were his happy and peaceful place. His ideal day would include teaching you to fish, out fishing you, and then cleaning the fish and frying them for supper. He would follow it up by beating you at multiple games of Kaiser.

He will be missed by many.

Please come and join us in celebrating Seth on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Bear Creek Funeral Home/Richmond Reception Centre (11802 99 Avenue, Grande Prairie) with a reception to follow.  All are welcome to come celebrate Seth’s life.
