Obituary of Millie McLevin

July 17, 1927 – February 26, 2019

Our dear mother, Millie McLevin, passed away in her sleep on February 26, 2019, at Mackenzie Place (2 East) in Grande Prairie, at the age of 91 years.

Millie enjoyed her family, music, gardening, dancing, the Legion Auxiliary, United Church Women, baking and crafts.

She is survived by her son Gordon (Carol) McLevin; Ken Hempel; grandchildren:  Terry (Diane) McLevin, Trisha McLevin (Mike), Tara (Guy) Meyer, Kim Hempel; 4 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren as well as numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

Millie was predeceased by her husband, “Mack” McLevin, her daughter Phyllis Hempel and brothers Bernard, and Edgar Zwiefel.

A Celebration of Life for Millie will be held in May of 2019 at a location to be announced.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff at Mackenzie Place and to Dr. Odufuwa.
