Obituary of Murray Thomas Dawson

December 24, 1955 – April 14, 2019

Murray passed away in the early hours of Sunday morning, April 14, 2019.

He grew up on a farm in Guernsey, Saskatchewan and also lived in Saskatoon, Martensville, Carrot River and then moved to Grande Prairie, Alberta.  He worked as a sheet metal worker for 20 years and as a bricklayer for twenty some years and he enjoyed and excelled at both.

 But his proudest accomplishment is his two beautiful daughters, Courtney and Tenille and his son Ryley.  He also has 3 grandkids and one more on the way.  His heart was full of love for them and he was the most caring, happy and generous man.

Murray really enjoyed the friendships of the Triple L Boys & Girls, especially Sunday suppers at Dave’s and Eldon’s visits.  He also spent lots of hard working and playing hours with the LFC boys and his two brothers, Don & Ross.  Life just won’t be the same without his smile and warm soul around us.

The family requests no flowers or donations.

A Celebration of Life will happen in the near future.
