A Tribute to Randy Parrott
I recall meeting Randy when he was just a little tyke and he would come down the street from his home in Brownvale to play with toy trucks and equipment in the sandbox with his young cousin and my nephew, Rick Wearden, at his house.
He had that big smile and positive outlook which stayed with him and endeared him to most others his entire life.
I saw Randy many times when he visited and spent good times with his Uncle Lawrence and Aunt Dianne, my sister, over the years and he always had that ever pleasant smile. He loved to visit and to chat.
Occasionally I would meet Randy at various events in the city of Grande Prairie where we both lived as well as downtown near his home. He was well known, well regarded and had many friends and acquaintances.
He will be missed and remembered well.
