I’m so sorry to hear of Laurette’s passing. I worked with her at the Villa Beauséjour in the early 80’s. She was a lady who saw the silver lining in every cloud. She always had a joke and a smile on her face. Laurette cared deeply for the seniors that we worked with. She had the biggest heart. Her joke playing was well known to her co-workers. She had a strong work ethic. I loved working with her and Elsa. They were the kindest pair of people you’d ever meet. Laurette is now reunited with her loved ones who passed before her and she wouldn’t want any fuss over her passing. Rest in peace wonderful lady.
We are very saddened on hearing of Laurette passing away. She was like a second Mom to me & we shared many stories around the campfire together. When ever you asked her How are you her answer was always “oh I’m good” she always had a smile on her face & a new saying that always made you laugh.
