Obituary of Laurette Brulotte
Laurette grew up on a farm in Jean Coté, Alberta, and attended a mission school in Peace River, Landry school and the convent in Jean Coté before she married Edgar Brulotte. She had 4 boys and while the boys grew up, her younger sister Henriette and brother Gilles were always close by. They shared many adventures including camping, hunting, playing hockey. Later in life she became good friends with Elsa and spent many years camping and fishing at Shaw’s Point. She lived in Falher for many years and moved to Clairmont in 2013. She had a big heart and always wore a happy smile, and was always ready to try anything. She will be sadly missed.
Laurette is survived by her sons: Roger (Linda), Aurelle (Joanne), Larry (Yvonne); sisters Jeannette, and Henriette (Larry); Grandchildren Pamela, Mitchel, Morgan, Norman, Valerie, Ryan, Jessica, Candace, Randy, and Emily; 10 Great Grandchildren; and her brother Gilles (Alice).
Laurette was predeceased by her parents, Laurier and Antoinette, her brothers Victor & Robert, her son Hector and her Good Friend Elsa Dupuy.
Laurette’s life will be celebrated with a gathering of her friends and a BBQ at Shaw’s Point in the summer of 2016.
